Carmel Beach Central Bus Station (Hebrew: מֶרְכָּזִית חוֹף הַכַּרְמֵל,Merkazit Hof HaKarmel) is the main bus station in Haifa, Israel, replacing the Haifa Bat Galim Central Bus Station. The former station is now only used to store Egged buses and for Egged office space and innercity buses now only stop there on the road rather than inside on the route between Haifa Hof HaCarmel Central Bus Station and the Mifratz Central Bus Station. Carmel Beach Central Bus Station opened in August 19, 2003. Since then, all buses coming from the South which formerly ended at Haifa Bat Galim Central Bus Station terminate at Carmel Beach Central Bus Station and new more frequent lines operate between the three stations. Passengers can get a free transfer to urban buses when they buy their inter-city ticket to continue from one central bus station to the other one, or into the city.
Carmel Beach Central Bus Station serves local Egged bus lines within the city of Haifa and all intercity Egged bus routes heading to the South. The station is also a mall. It has one level and has stores and a food court. At the waiting area for departing buses, there are doors to go outside to the bus platform. At the arrival area, people go inside a door to the building.
Carmel Beach Central Bus Station is adjacent to Haifa Carmel Beach Railway Station. There is a tunnel connecting the bus station with the train station. From the train station, there is a tunnel to the beach.

List of Israeli shopping malls |
In Israel, use of the word kanyon is a play on the words "kana", which means "to buy", and "henyon", which means "parking space" (due to the large amount of parking spaces near the mall), while at the same time sounding like the English word canyon. With the establishment of this mall, the word kanyon entered the Hebrew language. The word is now used to describe any covered shopping centre and many malls in Israel since then have been named with "kanyon" in their title. more from Wikipedia |

Mamilla Mall |
Mamilla Mall, also known as Alrov Mamilla Avenue, is an upscale shopping street and the only open-air mall in Jerusalem, Israel. Located northwest of Jaffa Gate, the mall consists of an 2,000 feet (610 m) pedestrian promenade called Alrov Mamilla Avenue lined by 140 stores, restaurants, and cafes, and office space on upper floors. The mall sits atop a multi-story parking garage for 1,600 cars and buses, and a bus terminal. Designed by Moshe Safdie and developed by Alrov Properties and Lodgings Ltd. of Tel Aviv, the mall incorporates the facades of 19th-century buildings from the original Mamilla Street, as well as the original structures of the Convent of St. Vincent de Paul, the Stern House, and the Clark House.
The mall is part of the Alrov Mamilla Quarter, a $400 million mixed-use development that also includes the 28 acres (11 ha) David's Village luxury condominium project, the David Citadel Hotel, the Alrov Mamilla Hotel, and the Karta parking lot. While the overall project was approved by the municipality in the early 1970s, and most of the condominiums and the David Citadel Hotel were completed in the 1990s, construction of the mall was delayed time and again – first due to opposition by preservationist, environmentalist, and religious groups, and then due to bureaucratic disputes, litigation, and arbitration. The mall was finally completed and opened in stages from 2007 to 2008, thirty-seven years after its initial proposal. more from Wikipedia |
